Assisted hatching
The egg cell – and thus also the embryo – is surrounded by a thin shell. However, this shell can sometimes be hardened.
In such cases, the embryo is unable to “hatch” from the egg shell and implant itself in the uterus.
Using state-of-the-art laser technology, the shell can be carefully thinned or opened in a small area under a microscope. This makes it easier for the embryo to hatch.
This method poses no risk to your embryos.
