Zymot sperm selection
ZyMot sperm selection is a modern, gentle procedure for selecting the best sperm for fertility treatment using IVF or ICSI. It filters out sperm that have particularly good motility and as little DNA fragmentation as possible—in other words, those with the best conditions for successful fertilization.
The procedure uses special microfluidic technology that mimics the natural path of sperm in the female body. This sorts out sperm with damaged genetic material (DNA fragmentation) and selects only the highest quality sperm.
Advantages of ZyMot sperm selection:
- Higher chances of fertilization
- Lower risk of miscarriage
- Particularly useful in cases of repeated failed attempts after IVF/ICSI, repeated miscarriages, increased risk of DNA fragmentation (e.g., due to environmental pollution, stress, smoking, advanced male age, etc.)
Sperm preparation using the ZyMot chamber is a simple and gentle method of improving the chances of successful fertilization.
